West Sponsored Riders

Name:Renate Jensen

Renate had her first race in 2005 in the 125 junior class. She then continued in this class for three more years, several times on the podium, as the only female contestant in the class. In 2006 she was selected to audition for the MotoGP Red Bull Rookies cup, held in Valencia. Even though she was not selected for the championship, it ignited her drive to succeed in this "speedy" sport.

In 2008 Renate went up a class and started in the 600cc rookies. S the only female in this class too, she planed to attend the European championship for woman in Croatia the very next year. Unfortunately the plans had to be put aside as she had a high-speed crash where her motorcycle caught fire and burned to dust.
